Our department was represented as an EU Centre of Excellence in Conference Interpreting Training at the European Commission meeting!

Our department was represented as an EU Centre of Excellence in Conference Interpreting Training at the “Awareness-raising on Enlargement” meeting held in Brussels on 16–17 March 2026 and organized by the European Commission. The event brought together representatives from the European Commission, the European Parliament, and the Court of Justice of the European Union, as well as Permanent Representations of candidate countries and coordinators of conference interpreting programs.

Discussions focused on the role of candidate country languages in the EU enlargement process and on the key qualifications required of conference interpreting programs.
