Co-authored by Dr. Fazilet Akdoğan Özdemir, part-time instructor Hüseyin Mergan, and our alumni Abdullah Sadık Kuralay, Ahmet Ergün, and Betül Mulbay, the article titled "Crisis translation: A student-led crowdsourcing initiative of a disaster relief term-base after 2023 Türkiye-Syria earthquakes" has been published in the International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction as part of its special issue, "Multidisciplinary Strategies for Risk Reduction and Adaptation to Enhance Resilient Infrastructure and Communities". The article focuses on the TermQuake project, an initiative launched by our students in the aftermath of the February 2023 Maraş earthquakes.
