Our second mock conference was also a success

We wrapped up the semester with our second mock conference, this time focusing on financial literacy for the corporate world!

This semester’s event brought together our 4th-year undergraduate students in interpreting, Sarp Kaya and Eray Avci, and our MA students in Conference Interpreting, Zeynep Nisa Açıkgöz, Deniz Hızlı and Emirhan Kaya, who demonstrated their remarkable simultaneous interpreting skills throughout the session.

Our sincere thanks go to Bahar Çotur for organizing the event and Çiğdem Erdoğan Kabalı for being our real-life speaker. Our thanks also go to our interpreting instructors — Jonathan Ross, Nedime Mercangöz, Hande Güner and Ebru Diriker as well as our RA Emine Özdemir for taking part in the event in various roles.

Congratulations to all students who took part — your hard work, professionalism, and enthusiasm made this event a success! More to come for new students next year!
