Our Department Hosted DOTTSS Bosphorus 2025

Between 01–12 September 2025, our Department had the pleasure of hosting DOTTSS2025 Bosphorus, the Doctoral and Teacher-Training Translation Studies Summer School, a joint initiative of 5 different universities: University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), University of Turku (Finland), University of Tampere (Finland), University of Granada (Spain), and Boğaziçi University (Türkiye).

The programme brought together doctoral students, early career researchers, and leading scholars in Translation Studies. We were honored to welcome Prof. Jorge Díaz Cintas (University College London) as a guest lecturer, along with other distinguished colleagues from around the world.

The event provided a valuable platform for academic exchange and collaboration, and we thank all who joined us in making it such a memorable experience.
